Coralee Curby

Coralee brings a warm and caring approach combined with a diverse background that has spanned education, counselling, trauma-informed care, and specialized learning interventions. Coralee’s professional background includes having worked for more than 20 years as a school psychologist within British Columbia’s school system where she completed psychoeducational assessments. In her work at the The North Star Clinic, Coralee is an Assessment Clinician completing psychoeducational assessments. for children, youth, and adults. She is trained in specialized interventions including the Orton-Gillingham approach and loves discovering collaborative ways to link supports with children’s individual needs.  Coralee is a Mental Health First Aid instructor and certified in Trauma Informed Yoga for Youth. Coralee is most passionate about working alongside children, their families, and educators to discover the unique gifts and strengths of each individual and to support strong and collaborative communities of care. Coralee serves as an Assessment Clinician with Supervision provided by Dr. Vanessa Lapointe, Registered Psychologist #1856.
