Isabella Bobbie

Isabella Bobbie is in the final stages of completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and has a background in Developmental Psychology. Isabella has experience working with children and families across a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Her clinical training includes a significant focus on assessment including psychoeducational, ADHD, psychodiagnotistic, and neuropsychological assessments. She also has experience in individual and group therapy, allowing her to bring a well-rounded lens to the assessment experience she offers the North Star clients. She is deeply passionate about resilience and early intervention as opportunities for children to not only cope, but to flourish in the face of life’s challenges.

At the heart of Isabella’s assessment work is the belief that every child deserves to feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She approaches each assessment as more than a set of scores or results. Instead, it is a chance to tell a child’s unique story within the context of their cultural, emotional, cognitive, academic, and relational world. Her goal is to provide clear, accessible, and meaningful insights and recommendations that can be readily understood and applied. She views each assessment as a privileged opportunity to not only identify areas of support, but to highlight strengths and foster a child’s greater understanding of themselves. Isabella is honoured to walk alongside children and their families in their journeys to a greater understanding of individuality.

Outside of her professional life, Isabella is an avid reader who enjoys hiking, dancing, and walking her puppy on the seawall. She treasures time with friends and keeps close ties with her family, never missing a chance to connect with loved ones back home in Ontario.

Isabella practices under the supervision of a North Star Psychologist.
